RICHARD DAWSON - Yorkshire

Broke a hand in April and missed the first two months of the season, but returned to win a county Championship title with Yorkshire in only his first season in the First Class game.

Took six wickets in Yorkshire's championship-clinching victory over Glamorgan at Scarborough.

Has a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Exeter University

Toured New Zealand with England Under 19s in 1998-99. Played against Australia Under 19s in Test and ODI Series in England in 1999.

Former England Under 15s captain. Has also captained British Universities side.

Played Minor Counties cricket for Devon in 1999 and 2000.

Supports Doncaster Rovers.
