Upon review, the ball is seen turning in off towards the middle. McDermott attempts a sweep but misses, and UltraEdge reveals no spike at all. The ball is found to be pitching outside off, hitting in from middle, and ultimately missing the leg stump. The decision is overturned, and McDermott survives.

McDermott then displays power, sending the ball down the ground, but Jaiswal's fielding efforts manage to save a run. A quick three for McDermott concludes the over, contributing 7 runs. Will India shuffle bowling line-up in 4th T20I

image

Hello and welcome to the coverage of the 4th T20I.

India's youthful bowling squad, under scrutiny for its recent struggles, aims to enhance its performance in the death overs and capitalise on Glenn Maxwell's absence in the fourth T20 International against Australia in Raipur.

In the previous match, the second-string Indian attack faced criticism after failing to defend 40-plus runs in the final two overs, ultimately leading to Australia's successful chase of a formidable 223-run target.

With Prasidh Krishna conceding 68 runs, including 21 in the last over, there might be a slight adjustment in the Indian lineup. Deepak Chahar's return to the T20 squad and Mukesh Kumar, a specialist in death overs, could be considered for inclusion in the playing XI. The lack of variety and innovation in Prasidh and Avesh Khan's bowling, consistently pitching at the same length, has made them vulnerable, especially on Indian tracks.

In the batting lineup, Shreyas Iyer's comeback leaves Tilak Varma as a potential candidate for the bench, as the others Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, skipper Suryakumar Yadav, and finisher Rinku Singh appear to be automatic selections.

India aims to exploit the absence of Glenn Maxwell, who played a pivotal role in Australia's comeback with a match-winning performance in the previous game. Maxwell's absence provides India with an opportunity to regroup and address their vulnerabilities in a bid to level the five-match series.
