Australia 89-4 (12 Ovs) vs India 174-9 | Scorecard

As the game reaches its halfway point, Australia finds themselves needing 99 runs from the remaining 60 deliveries, and it's time for the drinks break.

Ravi Bishnoi makes a return to the attack. McDermott and David manage to secure a single each. There's a loud appeal for LBW, and this time, Bishnoi gets the umpire's finger raised in his favour. However, Australia decides to challenge the decision and opt for a review.
Upon review, the ball is seen turning in off towards the middle. McDermott attempts a sweep but misses, and UltraEdge reveals no spike at all. The ball is found to be pitching outside off, hitting in from middle, and ultimately missing the leg stump. The decision is overturned, and McDermott survives.

McDermott maneuvers the ball towards the leg side, picking up a single. David nudges it towards cover, adding one more to the total. McDermott then displays power, sending the ball down the ground, but Jaiswal's fielding efforts manage to save a run. A quick three for McDermott concludes the over, contributing 7 runs. After 11 overs, Australia stands at 83-3.

Axar Patel makes a return to the bowling attack. McDermott strikes with authority, slamming a boundary towards deep midwicket. However, the joy is short-lived as McDermott gets bowled, departing after scoring 19 off 22 balls.

Matthew Short enters the crease as the new batsman. He starts cautiously, defending the first two deliveries and then gets off the mark with a couple of runs. The over concludes with a dot ball. This marks the end of Axar Patel's spell for the day, finishing with impressive figures of 3 for 16.

The over from Axar Patel yields 6 runs and claims a crucial wicket. After 12 overs, Australia finds themselves at 89-4.
