Bangalore go out of the tournament on a high, defeating Hyderabad by 6 wickets.

Shimron Hetmyer and Gurkeerat Singh fought back after losing  3 early wickets. They batted smartly, mixing the singles and twos with the big shots and were particularly effective after the 10th over. 


6 needed off the last over as Umesh walks in to bat.

Nabi back in the attack and Umesh hammers him for back-to-back boundaries to get over the line. 

De Grandhomme is new man in and just when it seemed like Bangalore would do it inside 20 overs, Khaleel has pulled things back slightly. He has first picked up the wicket of Gurkeerat Singh and then sends new man Sundar back to the pavillion for a duck.

He bowls 2 wides as 5 runs and wickets come in the over.

De Grandhomme is the new man in and gets off the mark with a single. 14 runs and a wicket come in the over.


With 25 needed off the last 3 overs, Rashid is back in  the attack and is hammered for 6 off the first ball off the over, a mighty shot over deep mid-wicket.

After a single, Hetmyer picks out the short one and hammers it over long-on for a six.

He tries to repeat the shot the next ball but only manages to hand the catch to Pathan at long-off.





Bhuvi comes back into the attack and the runs are flowing and the 150 comes up in the 17th over. 25 needed off the last 3 overs. 


Shankar comes into the attack and Gurkeerat clips the ball to the leg side to start the over with a four.

Gurkeerat is attacking now and how! He gets to his 50 with a short through backward point and follows that up with a pull to mid-wicket for another four.

Hyderabad have made one change bringing in Yusuf for Abhishek Sharma.

IPL: Delhi eye big win against Rajasthan

Delhi will aim for a big win against Rajasthan to enhance their chances for a second-place finish when the two teams clash in their final IPL league match, in New Delhi, on Saturday. 

A big win on Saturday will not only will boost Delhi's morale after the 80-run hammering at the hands of CSK but it could also propel the side to the second position in the eight-team standings.

A win against Rajasthan will enhance Delhi's chances of featuring in Qualifier 1, giving them two shots at the May 12 final.

In the absence of Rabada, Delhi's bowling attack looked miserable, but it is the shoddy performance of the batting unit which would be a cause of concern for skipper Shreyas Iyer.
