Ashraf Ghani's last Eid in Kabul

Less than a month ago, Afghanistan's president Ashraf Ghani spent Eid eating out at a restaurant. Yesterday, he fled his country as the Taliban took Kabul.

This is Ashraf Ghani's post on July 22: "It was a Sarbaz Eid. I spent my first, second and third day with our brave soldiers in the central, and Eastern part of the country. This evening I concluded the third day of Eid having dinner with the First Lady in a local restaurant in Kabul."

There are no women on the streets of Kabul any more.
