Vajpayee rules out dismissing TN government
''We will not misuse Article 356 (of the Constitution),'' the prime minister said, amid thumping of desks by Opposition members in the Rajya Sabha. He was replying to the three-day debate on the motion of thanks to the President for his address to the joint session of Parliament.

BJP wins in Patna
Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Dr C P Thakur was declared elected from the Patna Lok Sabha constituency today, for which repolling was held on March 30. Dr Thakur wrested the seat defeating his nearest Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Ram Kripal Yadav by a margin of 52,606 votes.
