Opener Sai Sudharsan and skipper Shubman Gill struck fluent half-centuries to power Gujarat Titans to 229 for four in an Indian Premier League match in Ahmedabad on Thursday.
The duo shared 125 runs for the opening wicket to set the platform for the total after being invited to bat.
While Sudharsan made 84 off 53 balls, Gill scored 64 off 37 balls.
Sudharsan decorated his innings with seven fours and four sixes, while Gill struck seven boundaries and three hits over the fence.
Jos Buttler also hit a quickfire unbeaten 57 off 27 balls that was laced with five boundaries and four sixes.
For CSK, Spencer Johnson (1/47) picked and Anshul Kamboj (1/57) picked up a wicket each.
Choudhary is back in the attack and Buttler starts the final over with a four over mid-wicket.
A single later, Sundar is off the mark with a six as he slices the ball over third man and the ball meets the ad cushions on the full.
Sundar then gets a single to the leg side.
Buttler then gets a single to the off side.
Sundar then goes for the big shot, gets a fine edge and is caught behind. He is out for 7 off the last ball of the innings. A wicket and 13 runs come off it.
Washington Sundar is the new man in, Buttler squeezes out the yorker and gets a four to long off.
Buttler brings up his 50 off 23 balls with a smash over cover for a four!
Buttler then looks to flick the ball to the leg side for a single off his pads. CSK review for LBW. Ball tracking shows pitching outside leg and leg bye signalled. 15 come off it.
Tewatia is the new man in and he looks to get off the mark with a quick single to mid-off, Gaikwad runs in, aims and hits the stumps. There is a review for run-out as he fails to make it to the crease and he is run-out for a duck.
CSK penalised for slow over-rate. Only four fielders outside the ring now.
Kamboj continues, he bowls a low full toss and Sudharsan squeeze it over deep point for a six!
Sudharsan then looks to loft the fuller, straighter ball only to hole out to long-off and he is out for 84 off 53 balls. Kamboj gets his first.
