A statement win indeed from RCB! They've absolutely hammered KKR away.

The tone was set right at the top-Phil Salt and Virat Kohli came out blazing in the powerplay, making full use of the platform. Salt's explosive 56 off 31 and Kohli's calm yet dominant fifty laid the perfect foundation. From there, it was cruise control.

RCB never let the required rate climb, and even after a couple of wickets, Patidar and Livingstone ensured there were no hiccups. A clinical, all-round performance-batting, bowling, and strategy all spot on.

This was RCB flexing their muscles.

A wide follows, but de Kock does well to prevent extra runs. Salt misses the next, then taps one to point for no run. A quick single rotates strike. Kohli, playing his 400th T20 match, announces himself with a trademark boundary and wraps up the over with a couple. 

Solid start-12 off the first. RCB are 12-0.

Spencer Johnson, making his KKR debut, charges in from over the wicket with a wide slip in place. A fiery start-Salt is beaten twice in a row. But he responds with a crisp boundary to release some pressure. A dot to cover, then one back to the bowler. The over ends with a leg bye. Just 5 off it-after 2 overs, RCB are 17-0.

KKR collapse to 174 after a flying start, squandering a platform that once promised 200. Rahane and Narine's 103-run stand had them cruising, but RCB roared back'-thanks to a game-changing spell from Krunal Pandya.

Rasikh Dar broke the stand by removing Narine, and Krunal took over, scalping Rahane, Venkatesh, and Rinku. 

RCB's pace-off strategy worked wonders, while KKR's poor shot selection under pressure sealed their slide. A strong comeback, and a rare bowling masterclass from RCB.

Raghuvanshi and Ramandeep play it safe, rotating the strike but unable to find the boundary. Just 4 singles come off the over. After 17 overs, KKR are 155-6.

Josh Hazlewood returns for his final spell. He beats Raghuvanshi first up, but the youngster responds with a single. Ramandeep follows with one of his own. Then comes the big shot-Raghuvanshi launches a massive six! A couple of singles to finish things off.

A solid over for KKR-10 runs from it. After 18 overs, they're 165-6.

Liam Livingstone comes into the attack for the 14th over. Raghuvanshi and Rinku rotate the strike smartly, working the gaps and dealing mostly in singles. A short one from Livingstone is punished- Rinku pulls it away for four. A steady over, 10 runs come off it. After 14 overs, KKR are 141-4.

Krunal Pandya continues and keeps it tight once again. The batters stick to singles, but Krunal strikes again! He finishes his spell in style, hitting the top of off stump to dismiss Rinku for 12 off 10 balls. Just 4 runs and a wicket from the over-Krunal ends with a superb spell. After 15 overs, KKR are 145-5.

Andre Russell strides out to the middle as the new batter. Suyash Sharma returns for his final over.

Raghuvanshi starts with a single. Russell defends the first ball he faces, then muscles the next one for a boundary. But Suyash has the last laugh-WICKET! A deceptive googly does the trick, and Russell is bowled for just 4 off 3 balls.

Ramandeep Singh is the new man in. He defends cautiously and finishes the over with a single. A tidy over with a big breakthrough-6 runs and a wicket. After 16 overs, KKR are 151-6.

Rasikh Dar returns to the attack. First ball, Rahane misses the flick and is struck on the padloud appeal from Dar and Jitesh, but its clearly sliding down leg. No review taken.
