Day 2 of the WTC Final at Lord's had it all - 14 wickets, fierce spells, and a match swinging wildly.

Pat Cummins starred early, bagging his 300th Test wicket in a brilliant 6-for to hand Australia a 74-run lead. But Rabada and Ngidi hit back hard, slicing through the top order to leave Australia reeling at 73/7.

Carey and Starc steadied things with a gritty 61-run stand before stumps. It could've been worse - Jansen dropped Starc in the day's final over.

With a 218-run lead on a tricky pitch, every run now matters. Day 3 is set up perfectly.
