Australia are 101 for 5 at lunch on Day 2 of the 5th Test at the SCG on Saturday.

Australia trail by 84 runs.

India dominated the morning session with four wickets while Australia have scored 92 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah led India's fight in the morning with the early wicket of Marnus Labuschagne.

Siraj then got two wickets in an over, taking out Sam Konstas and Travis Head in the same over.

Steve Smith and debutant Beau Webster then counter-punched with a 50-run stand as they seemed to wrest back momentum after the first hour of play.

Krishna then bought back into the attack just before lunch got the big wicket of Smith for 33.

Australia will need Carey and Webster to fight on post lunch.

Siraj is back in the attack and after a dot, Webster takes a single to deep backward square leg.

A dot later, full and wide and Carey slaps the ball through covers for a four!

Two dots to end the over as 5 come off it. Lunch called and India have dominated the morning session.

Alex Carey is the new man in. Krishna comes around the wicket and he bowls it in that corridor and Carey lets it go to the keeper.

Carey then block. He then sways away from a bouncer.

Carey then slaps one to the fielder at point.

Krishna then gets Carey all worried as the ball is angled in but bounces on him. He does well fend it down to square leg for another dot.

Krishna back in the attack and he gets a full ball to move away, Smith gets the outside edge and is caught in the slips. Smith is out for 33, Krishna gets his first wicket and Australia lose their 5th.

Jadeja is in the attack now and after a dot, Webster paddle sweeps the ball for a couple to the leg side.

He then clips the next ball to square leg for another couple.

Three dots to end the over as 4 come off it.
