Dot to end the over as 2 runs and a wicket come off it.

Archer opens the bowling at the other end and he starts with a peach. The ball hits the seam, comes in and raps Finch on the pads first ball. Big shout, umpire lifts the finger. Finch takes the review and loses it as the replay shows the ball was nipping in and would have knocked the stumps.

Finch gone for a duck and Aus lose their first wicket.

David Warner and Aaron Finch open the batting for Australia while Cheis Woakes starts proceedings for England.

The first five overs will be crucial and Warner starts with  four through covers. What a start for the Aussies.

Warner then leaves the next ball and let's it to to the keeper.

Woakes then shortens his length a bit and after two dots Warner let's the next one go through.

Australia captain Aaron Finch has won the toss and elected to bat against England in their World Cup semi-final at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Thursday.

Australia's Peter Handscomb makes his World Cup debut as he replaces an injured Khawaja and will bat at no 3, said Finch at the toss. England field an unchanged squad.

Hosts, England slipped up three times in the group stages, suffering defeats to Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia, who they face in a semi-final to savour on Thursday at Edgbaston.

One consistent factor in those losses was the absence of Plunkett, 34, who claims setbacks have only served to bolster England ahead of a clash with Steve Smiths five-time winners.

Eoin Morgans men have been irresistible in the format over the last four years but having won 17 consecutive run chases at home, they fell short batting second three times in the group stage.

But far from buckling under pressure, Plunkett feels they have all the tools to deal with the expectation that comes with being a world number one side on home soil.

"It's a matter of how you deal with pressure, it's not a bad thing that it's there, he said.
