The elephant in the room is who will be the next Karnataka CM. If this tweet by the Congress is anything to go by, no answers yet, on whether the party will choose Siddaramaiah or the state president DK Shivakumar.

The video, posted just ahead of Rahul Gandhi's address after the party heads to a landslide win, shows the Congress leader holding Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar's hands and beating a drum together. There were three celebratory emojis of a festoon, drum etc, but @INC did no reveal on question on everyone's minds.

Siddaramaiah has made no secret of his ambition to occupy the post of Chief Minister but Shivakumar has worked tremendously hard to hand the state to the Congress.
