Chopper after chopper lands for Badal's coronation

At the swearing-in ceremony of Parkash Singh Badal as Punjab CM:

Several ministers touched Badal's feet to seek his blessings. Chopper after chopper kept landing close to the venue of the ceremony bringing VVIPs and VIPs for the ceremony. Advani, Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Narender Modi, Dhumal, Shanta Kumar and other leaders congratulated Badal on taking
over reins of the state.

Interestingly, NCP senior leader Praful Patel attended the ceremony, even as colleague Tariq Anwar said the party would not attend.

Badal did not hold any formal press conference after the ceremony, but along with Sukhbir and Majithia went to a special stage and sought the blessings of Sant Samaj chief Harnam Singh Dhumma and other religious figures.
