Skipper Shreyas made an excellent fifty to support Yuzvendra Chahal's hat-trick as Punjab Kings defeated Chennai Super Kings by four wickets in their IPL match in Chennai on Wednesday.
Shreyas (72, 41b, 5x4 4x6) and opener Prabhsimran Singh (54, 36b, 5x4, 3x6) were the main run-makers for PBKS as they overhauled the 191-run target in 19.4 overs.
Earlier, Sam Curran's 88 helped hosts CSK reach a competitive 190 all out despite Chahal taking four wickets including a hat-trick (4/32).
Curran (88, 47b, 9x4, 4x6) found good support from Dewald Brevis (32, 26b, 2x4, 1x6).
For PBKS, leg-spinner Chahal was the was the most successful bowler as pacer Marco Jansen too chipped in with a couple of wickets.
One run still needed as Jansen is the new man in and a dot ball. Still one needed off 3.
Jansen gets an inside edge and it runs past Dhoni for a four as Punjab beat CSK by four wickets.

Khaleel is back in the attack and a dot to start and Punjab take review for wide for height and fair ball .

Shedge pulls it to deep mid-wicket and is caught in the deep. He is out for 1.

Shreyas is bowled next ball as he tries to hoick it only to chop it onto his pads and stumps. He is out for 72.
Josh Inglis is the new man in and after a dot, he is off the mark with a four.
A single to end the over as a wicket and 15 come off it.
Jadeja back in the attack and Shashank starts the over with a backfoot drive down the ground for a four.
Shashank then smashes the ball down the ground for a six!
Shashank is then out next ball as Brevis takes a smart catch a the boundary and he is out for 23 off 12.
