New Zealand finish on 300/8 and India have reasons to be happy.
After a brilliant opening-wicket stand, New Zealand lost wickets at regular intervals and were unable to stitch big partnerships in the middle overs. Indian bowlers, especially the pacers, bowled well in their second spell, keeping it extremely tight and picking up crucial wickets.
