Militants open fire in Kokrajhar, Assam; 12 civilians killed

Twelve civilians have been killed after militants opened fire at a market area in Assam's Kokrajhar, says Times Now. Security forces engaged the militants in an encounter which is still on.

Fifteen civilians have been reported injured in the incident.

One terrorist has reportedly been killed by security forces, and an AK-47 has been recovered.
