Anna Hazare appeals for ahimsa

Rediff.com's Sahim Salim reports from Rajghat, venue of Anna Hazare's protest fast today:

Addressing the people Hazare said he has been fighting using ahimsa for 25 years. "I have sent back 400 corrupt officials and taken the wicket of six cabinet ministers. If I had accepted violence, the government would have broken me. So I appeal to you to use only ahimsa."
