Anna threatens Aug 16 fast if govt reneges

Anna Hazare says he will go on fast on August 16 if the government tries to sabotage the Lokpal Bill.

Meanwhile, at Rajghat today, Hazare said, "I want to tell the government that we are not two but one. You should wipe it out of your mind that you are the masters. You are not the masters, the people are. Gram Sabha is more powerful than Lok Sabha or State Assemblies," he said.

Hazare said he will not seek security for himself and he is not afraid of death. "Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev never asked for security. If they would have done, our country would not be free," he said.
