Krunal, Patidar keep chase moving

Pat Cummins returned to the attack for Sunrisers Hyderabad, but Krunal Pandya greeted him with a boundary to keep Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the hunt.

A wide down the leg side followed before Rajat Patidar steered one to deep third for a single. Another tight delivery sparked a review after a discussion between Cummins and Ishan Kishan, but it stayed with the umpire's original call of a fair delivery.

Cummins then overstepped for a no-ball, though RCB couldn't fully capitalise on the free hit, managing only singles as SRH avoided major damage.

Still, 12 runs came from the over as RCB reached 112 for 3 after 11 overs.

Shivam Dube came back into the attack and nearly struck immediately when Patidar missed a sweep. SRH reviewed the lbw call, but UltraEdge showed no inside edge and ball-tracking had wickets missing -- another unsuccessful review for Hyderabad.

Krunal survived a couple of nervy swings before finally finding the boundary with a clean strike, helping RCB collect 9 runs from the over and move to 121 for 3 after 12.

Sakib Hussain then delivered a tighter over, despite Krunal punching a boundary through the off side. The bowler mixed his pace cleverly and kept both batters largely quiet.

Just 6 came from it as RCB moved to 127 for 3 after 13 overs, needing 129 runs from 42 balls.
