Sudharsan-Sundar fire GT fightback

Eshan Malinga is brought back into the attack, and Sai Sudharsan starts cautiously--cutting one towards midwicket but finding no gap. He then picks up a single with a neat drive to mid-off.

Washington Sundar keeps the rotation going, nudging one to long-off for a single. Sudharsan then finds a bit of room and squeezes one past extra cover for a couple, before shifting gears completely--he launches a massive six, clearing the ropes with authority.

Next ball is struck hard again by Sudharsan straight back, and Sundar's quick reflexes unintentionally save four runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad as he gets in the way while trying to evade it.

A strong over overall--10 runs from it, with Gujarat Titans moving to 78 for 3 after 11 overs.

Shivang Kumar is introduced into the attack as spin comes into play. Sundar works one to deep square leg for a single, while Sudharsan sees a wide go down the leg side. Another wide follows. He then takes a single, before Sundar is pushed to extra cover but finds no run. A dot ball ends the over.
