Mhatre defends the first ball on the off-side and blocks the next on the leg side and pushes the third ball into the covers.
Siraj bowls a wide down the leg side before Mhatre smashes the next back over the bowler's head for a four.
The right-hander is then beaten as he looks to hit it through the off-side and gets a leading edge off the last ball for one.
Left-arm pacer Arshad Khan into the attack from the other end. He mistimes the lofted shot over midwicket for two runs.
However, the next ball is smashed right off the middle as Mhatre lofts Arshad over long-on for a six.
He goes big again as he clubs the next ball again over long-on for another six.
Arshad goes wide and this time Mhatre plays a handsome drive through the covers for a four and slogs the next over the fielder at midwicket for another boundary.
The young CSK opener pulls the last ball as he clears the fine leg for the third six of the over, as Arshad goes for 28 runs in his first over.
