Aus 144-8 (40 ovs) & 212 vs SA 138 | Scorecard
Rabada ends South Africa's frustration as he traps Carey leg before wicket, who has taken the DRS.
There is no inside edge this time and the ball has struck in line. It is going on to clip the leg stump which means it stays with the umpire's call.
Carey walks back after a handy knock of 43 from 50 balls which was instrumental in getting Australia back, as he put on 61 runs for the eighth wicket with Starc.
Rabada oversteps for yet another no-ball before Nathan Lyon gets the edge but the ball doesn't carry to Markram at second slip.
Starc plays a nice drive but can't beat Bavuma in the covers, who comes up with a diving stop to save the boundary before Rabada bowls another no-ball.
Mulder is back into the attack. Starc gets the edge first ball but it doesn't carry to first slip before Starc misses the clip but the ball goes fine off his pads for four leg byes.
The slip fielders have come up and that proves crucial. Starc gets a thick outside edge but Jansen at gully puts down the catch. That ball came quickly to him at a nice height but he is unable to hold on after getting a hand on it.
Starc flicks the fifth ball square on the leg side for two runs before he leaves the last ball.
Australia are 144/8 in 40 overs at stumps on Day 2, as they stretch their lead to 218 runs.
Starc has played a vital role with the bat, with 16 not out from 47 balls. His 61-run stand for the eighth wicket with Carey (43) turned the tide in the third session in Australia's favour.
The pitch is likely to get better for batting on Day 3 but Australia's bowlers will also be fancying their chances of skittling out South Africa like they did in the first innings.
