Aus 86-1 (33 ovs) vs India 180 | Scorecard

Australia strike back on action-packed first day at the Adelaide Oval. Mitchell Starc blew away India's batting line-up, taking 6/48 to bowl out the visitors for 180 after they had elected to bat first.

Australia made a strong reply with the bat as they reached 86/1 in 33 overs at stumps on Day 1.

Nathan McSweeney, playing in his second Test, battled hard for his 38 not out, while Marnus Labuschagne also did well to score an unbeaten 20.

The duo put on an unbroken stand of 66 runs for the second wicket to put Australia in control.

Usman Khawaja was caught behind off Jasprit Bumrah for 13 but the two right-handers denied the Indians as they left the ball well and also opened up after a cautious start.
