PM breaks with protocol in Bhutan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has concluded his first foreign visit to Bhutan, struck a chord with the nation and its leaders, we know. But the biggest gesture was reserved for the last, when he broke protocol and stepped out of his car to mingle with the local population.

Ministry of external affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted this: Break with Protocol! In departure from practice @PMOIndia got off vehicle in Bhutan & met some from huge crowd.
