Madushanka continues from the other end. Buttler clips the first ball off his pads for a couple of runs to midwicket before he is beaten two balls in a row, looking to drive full deliveries angled across him.

A cracking yorker from Madushanka which swings in the air before holdings its line to get past the outside edge as Buttler is beaten for the third ball in a row.

Buttler makes room and looks to drive the full delivery but gets it off the to end for a single as the fielder at slip fumbles.

England off to a watchful start with 16 coming from the first three overs.
