New Zealand start the second day's play with spinner Ajaz Patel. The first ball is an overpitched delivery as Rishabh Pant drives it straight back past the non-striker for a boundary to make a confident start to the day.

He uses his feet to get to the pitch and again plays a nice cracking drive past mid-off for another boundary.

The next ball stays a bit low as Pant clips it into the shoulder of the fuelder short leg.

Pant attempts to defend but the ball turns a bit as he gets the outside edge which goes wide of the slip fielder for the third four of the over.

A huge appeal for leg before off the fifth ball but it has pitched outside the line of leg stump and he blocks the last ball.
