India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bowl in the first One-Day International against South Africa, in Johannesburg, on Thursday.
The visitors have retained the same team that beat West Indies by five wickets in the third ODI in Kanpur. Mohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the three pace bowlers, while R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are the two frontline spinners.
Dhoni is expecting rain to play a part later in the match and he says his bowlers have not yet figured out how to play with the wet ball.
