England require 10 runs off the last oevr. Vinay Kumar to bowl.

He bowls a wide first up. The first legitimate ball is a fine edge that goes for a four. patel hits the second to the fence as well.

And a third boundary by Patel in succession helps England win by six wickets with three balls to spare.

Ravi Bopara remains unbeaten on 31 and Samit Patel on 25.

It is Stuart Broad's first win as the T20 captain.

Eoin Morgan has helped the English cause with some lofty hitting.

However, he is unfortunate to be given out on 49, caught at point by Rohit Sharma off Munaf.

Morgan's 27-ball knock was inclusive of seven hits to the fence and two over it and he put on 73 runs (off 49 balls) for the fourth wicket with Ravi Bopara.

England 137 for four after 16 overs.

Kohli's success prompts Dhoni to introduce Rohit Sharma from the other end.

However the move backfires as Morgan hits 15 runs off four balls, including two boundaries and a maximum. Nine runs come off Kohli's second over.

Sharma's extravagance forces Dhoni to bring back Ashwin into the attack. The spinner concedes just four runs in his second over.

England 94 for three after 11 overs.

Kieswetter hits two boundaries in three balls as Vinay Kumar comes back from the other end.

The home team managed just 17 in their first three overs. The next two has seen them add 26 runs.

This forces Dhoni to introduce spin in the sixth over. However, Pietersen puts pressure on Ashwin from ball one by hitting a boundary over fine leg. The last ball also goes for a boundary as 15 runs come off the over.

Munaf, however, provides India a much needed breakthrough by having Kieswetter (18) caught by Raina at cover. Eoin Morgan comes in to bowl.

Pietersen is living dangerously. He is fortunate as Parthiv drops him off Munaf's first ball. What more, he gets a boundary in the bargain.

Munaf's third ball is hit over third man for a maximum by Kieswetter. And the fifth KP hits to the fence.
