Opposition demands PM respond to CVC issue

Another day of drama in the Lok Sabha.

Uproar in Parliament over a demand for a statement from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the Supreme Court ruling quashing the appointment of CVC.

Immediately after the Question Hour, Left members as also JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav raised the matter vociferously, leading to adjournment of the House for 45 minutes.

The PM is expected to make a statement on the issue next week.
