Inflation rises to 8.98 per cent in Mar '11

Inflation rose to 8.98 per cent in March 2011, from 8.31 per cent in previous month, the latest report from the Central Statistical Organisation stated.

However, food inflation declined to 8.28 per cent for the week ended April 2, from 9.18 per cent in the previous week.
