Sohaib Khan scored his second consecutive fifty as Afghanistan restricted United Arab Emirates to 160 for 9 in their Group D T20 World Cup Fixture in New Delhi on Monday.
Sohaib top scored for UAE, smashing 68 off 48 balls while Alishan Sharafu contributed with a 31-ball 40.
Opting to bowl, Afghanistan kept taking wickets at regular intervals.
For Afghanistan, Azmatullah Omarzai picked four wickets.
Junaid Siddique is the new man in and he is off the mark with a couple.
He then takes a single and calls for the second but is run out. One run completed and UAE make 160 for 9.
Sharifi comes on to bowl the final over and the batters start with three singles.
A wide later, Haider wants a single but his partner stays put, he runs back but is run out by the keeper and is out for 13 off 12.
Simranjeet is the new man in and after a dot, he gets off the mark with a tight single.

Sharifi is back in the attack and Sohaib and Haider take a single each before he short ball is pulled over long leg for a six!
Sohaib then takes a single to cover, he takes another run off a misfield but the 2nd run is not counted as the umpires call it a leg bye.
Haider then creams the next ball through extra cover for a four!
A wide later, Haider slashes hard at the short ball outside as it runs past keeper for a four! 18 come off it.
