India dismiss Pak inside 50 overs

Pakistan have been dismissed by India for 241 in 49.4 overs in their Champions Trophy match in Dubai on Sunday.

After Azam and Imam gave Pakistan a good start, they lost two quick wickets. 

Saud Shakeel and Mohd Rizwan then put on a 104-run stand in a mini fight back. 

But Axar and Hardik came back later and took out both the well set batters. Thereafter Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals and Kuldeep finished with three wickets. 

Saud top-scored for Pakistan with 62. And at the backend Khushdil put on a fighting 38 off 39. Kuldeep was India's best bowler with figures of 3 for 40 in 9 overs.




Abrar Ahmed is the new man in. 

Rana to bowl the final over as Khushdil swings and only gets a bottom edge and that is a dot.

Two more dots as he bowls a slower one and wide ball.

Khushdil pulls and plays it straight to Kohli in the deep. Pakistan all out for 241. 


Shami is back in the attack and he starts with a quick short ball, Kushdil pulls it over deep mid-wicket for a six!

A dot later, Khushdil pulls it in the in field for a single.

Short ball again and Rauf pulls it over deep backward square leg for another six!

Rauf moves to the leg side and swings but misses and the ball goes to the keeper for a dot.

Rauf makes room, swings, runs two and Axar throws it in flat from the deep to Rahul who whips off the bails in a jiffy and Rauf is run out for 8.  

14 runs and a wicket come in the over. 


Rana is back in the attack and after a dot, Khushdil takes a couple past the bowler.

Khushdil and Rauf then take three singles off the next four balls as 5 come off it.


Haris Rauf is the new man in and he starts with two dots as a wicket and 3 runs come off it.



Kuldeep continues and Khushdil starts the over with a single.

A dot later, Naseem inside edges the ball to fine leg for a couple.

Kuldeep strikes next ball as Naseem chips it towards long-on and Kohli charges in and completes a good low catch as Naseem is out for 14 off 16.
