Quinton de Kock scored a fiery half century to take South Africa to 213 for 4 against India in the second T20I in Mullanpur on Thursday.

Opening the innings, de Kock went hammer and tongs as he scored a 46-ball 90 that was laced with seven sixes and five boundaries after being asked to bat.

Donovan Ferreira (30 not out) and David Miller (20 not out) provided the final flourish.

For India, mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy (2/29) was the pick of the bowlers.



India handed slow over rate penalty with only 4 fielders outside the circle.

Bumrah comes to bowl the final over and Miller starts with a single.

Full and straight and Ferreira smashes it down the ground for a six!

Ferreira then mishits the pull and he hits it to mid-wicket and scampers for a couple.

Short ball, Ferreira makes room and pulls it hard over deep square leg for a huge six!

Ferreira then slaps the ball past the bowler for a quick couple.

Swing and a miss next and the batter takes a quick single off a bye as South Africa put on a massive 213 for 4 on the board.  


Arshdeep continues and the juicy full toss is swiped over long on for a six! 

Short bouncer next and Ferreira misses as he goes for the pull.

Arshdeep then bowls one wide down the leg side.

Another wide, this time wide of the off side. 

Ferreira then plays the low full toss to the leg side for a single.

Another full toss and Miller flicks it over deep mid-wicket for a six!

A dot ball next before the straight short ball is pulled to deep backward square leg for a single. 16 come off the over.
