South Africa beat India by 51 runs in second T20I in Mullanpur to go level 1-1 in five-match series.
Ottneil Baartman took four wickets before Tilak Varma's 50 to rescue India went in vain as the visitors put on a show with the ball. After dismissing three batters in the Powerplay, Axar and Tilak put on a good stand before Baartman removed Axar for 21.
Tilak and Jitesh put on a late rescue effort but it was not enough as Baartman took three wickets in the 19th over before Ngidi removed Tilak to have India all out for 162.
Earlier, Quinton de Kock scored a fiery half century to take South Africa to 213 for 4 against India in the second T20I in Mullanpur on Thursday.
Opening the innings, de Kock went hammer and tongs as he scored a 46-ball 90 that was laced with seven sixes and five boundaries after being asked to bat.
Donovan Ferreira (30 not out) and David Miller (20 not out) provided the final flourish.
For India, mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy (2/29) was the pick of the bowlers.
Ngidi is back in the attack and Tilak is caught out in the deep for 62 and India are bowled out for 162.
Chakravarthy is the new man in and he plays the ball to fine leg but doesn't take a single.

Arshdeep is the new man in and he is off the mark with a four down to third man.
Arshdeep is out next ball and he steers the ball straight to the fielder at backward point. Arshdeep is out for 4 and India lose their 8th wicket.
