NZ 134-3 (40 ovs) vs India | Scorecard

Width from Siraj as Young and Mitchell hit the first two balls for singles to deep point.

Siraj drifts on the pads as Young misses the clip on the leg side before the next ball goes off the outside half past the slips and watchfully keeps out the last two balls.

Jadeja gets the ball to turn sharply to beat Young as he attempts to defend. Jadeja still in the bowling in the 90s (kph) which is his usual pace. A few deliveries bowled in the mid 80s did get him a lot of purchase.

No signs of Ashwin yet after lunch. With the pitch offering some much assistance, India will need their premier spinner to make a mark.

New Zealand are coasting along nicely with 39 runs coming from 12 overs in the post-lunch session.

And as we speak, Ashwin comes into the attack after a short two-over burst from Siraj.

He strikes first ball with the wicket of Mitchell, who misses the reverse sweep and is given out leg before wicket.

Mitchell immediately takes the review. The ball has clearly gone off the gloves into the pads as the decision is overturned.

Mitchell flicks Ashwin's full delivery through midwicket for a single to the fielder in the deep.

Young square drives a wide delivery on the off-side for two runs.

New Zealand are 134/3 in 40 overs with Young on 62 and Mitchell on 23 with the duo having put on 62 runs for the fourth wicket so far.

It is quite hot in Mumbai as the players take shade under the umbrella while getting hydrated. The Kiwi batters seem quite tired as they rest in a chair while getting ice packs on their shoulder.
