India captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and elected to bat against Australia in the pink ball day-night Test at Adelaide on Friday.

"There is some grass cover. It will have some carry for the fast bowlers but it will get better to bat later on," said Rohit after winning the toss.

India have made three changes as Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Ravichandran Ashwin come back into the team in place of Devdutt Padikkal, Dhruv Jurel and Washington Sundar.

Meanwhile, Australia have made one change as Scott Boland comes in for the injured Josh Hazlewood.
