The post lunch session of the 2011 IPL Players' Auction got off on a sombre note with a couple of players not finding any takers.

South Africa's opening batsman Herschelle Gibbs, who had a reserve auction price of $200,000, was unsold along with New Zealand all-rounder Jesse Ryder, who started with a base price of $100,000.

Earlier, Sourav Ganguly and Chris Gayle were the two unsold players from the morning session.
