How US meltdown will hit Indian IT

Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS) is a Chennai-based offshore technology operations management company that employs around 5,000 people at its facilities in Chennai and Coimbatore.

It also has facilities in the United States and Singapore. It has recently opened its first European facility in Wroclaw, Poland after signing a multi-million dollar support services agreement with Alcatel-Lucent to provide French, German and Spanish language support to Alcatel-Lucent's European customers. The company is investing over $3million for its Polish expansion.

Shiva Ramani, the company's chief executive officer, speaks to rediff.com on its entry into the European market and also on the current US meltdown.
