Congress MP Karti P Chidambaram shares this on X: "The merger of Registered Post with Speed Post has sharply increased postal charges, affecting students, job seekers, and low-income citizens who rely on these services. Modernisation must not come at the cost of affordability. I've urged the Communications Ministry to review the hike and restore fair, accessible postal services for all. Postal reforms must not price out the very people they are meant to serve."
