Well, as someone said on Facebook, where are the happily ever after stories anymore?

On Friday news broke out that Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and his wife of six years, Katie Holmes, will go their separate ways. People magazine broke the story, with attorney Jonathan Wolfe confirming it in a statement to it: "This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family. Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

Katie was previously married to actor Chris Klein, while Tom Cruise was married to Nicole Kidman, after which he was involved with Penelope Cruz. Their romance began in 2005, remember Cruise's exuberance on the Oprah show?, their daughter Suri was born in April 2006 and they wed in November that year.
