In a direct and immediate fallout of the Libya crisis, the head of the prestigious London School of Economics, Sir Howard Davies, has resigned from his post over his instution's controversial financial links with Libya.
The university has now revealed that it had signed a 2.2 million pound contract with Libya to train its civil service and had already received 1.5 million pounds of that from the dictator's regime.
