Obama's politics of change inspires Democratic meet

August 25, 2008
The headline prime time speaker on Wednesday will be Obama's running mate, Senator Joe Biden, who will be preceded by former President Bill Clinton.

The theme will be 'Securing America's Future' and the focus will be on Obama's 'new, tough foreign policy to make our country more secure and advance our interests in the world', according to the DNCC.

And on the final day, the DNCC will move the Convention from the 20,000-seat Pepsi Center to the 75,000-seat Invesco Field, where Obama will deliver his acceptance speech of the Democratic nomination with the theme being 'Change You Can Believe in'.
