Obama's politics of change inspires Democratic meet
August 25, 2008
According to the DNCC, Obama, who is said to be working on his speech -- which would coincide with the 45th anniversary of civil rights icon Reverend Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream,' speech -- would 'communicate the urgency of the moment, highlight the struggles Americans are facing and call on Americans to come together to change the course of this nation'.
And, on hand to record his remarks, in what the DNCC calls "a technologically first-rate Convention," will be over 15,000 journalists from across the US and the world and also a battery of bloggers.
