Goyle told rediff.com, "I was nominated to be a speaker and I know there were requests made, but I don't know where it stands".
Asked if Sebelius as the convention co-chair couldn't have swung a speaking slot for him, Goyle said, "I know she was supportive but I don't know what happened".
Last month, at a major fundraiser for Obama in Washington, DC put together by the Asian American community, including several high-powered Indian American fundraisers, Goyle was the warm-up act for Obama and delivered a rousing speech.
