Bose's death anniversary is celebrated in Tokyo religiously, every year, with a small ceremony.
Prayers are read out by the head priest.
Mourners, some Indian and some Japanese (war veterans), bow their heads in front of the urn of his ashes placed near the gold statues of Buddha.
They pause to remember the Indian war hero who sought Japanese help to fight the British and bring an end to the British rule of India.
