The bikini is 60!

Apparently, men have always been obsessed with getting women to wear less.

As far back as 1400 BC, ancient wall paintings depicted women in little tops and separate bottoms. Two-piece outfits were common among travelling female stage performers in the 1920s.

By 1935, the bikini's forerunner had made an appearance, courtesy an American designer called Claire McCardell.
