Raj had earlier made some comments about 'inactive' people in the Sena. Although he did not name the 'inactive' people, the remarks were considered to be directed against some persons appointed to party posts by Uddhav.
Thackeray alleged that former Sena leader Narayan Rane, who was removed from the party, had been indulging in a 'poisonous' campaign against Uddhav.
