Former chief minister of Delhi and former governor of Rajasthan Madan Lal Khurana was suspended from the Bhartiya Janata Party on Saturday for his 'anti-party' activities. Khurana had wanted Narendra Modi removed from the chief minister's post in Gujarat.

Anti-Modi campaign intensifies

Several BJP legislators, led by former chief minister Keshubhai Patel, have been demanding a change of leadership in Gujarat. Apparently, party workers in Gujarat are fed up of Modi's arrogant style of functioning.
