Many newly elected Rajya Sabha members, including Reliance Industries vice-chairman and managing director Anil Ambani, took oath on Monday.
Early in the morning, Ambani undertook a symbolic run from the Amar Jawan Jyoti to Parliament House and back.
Answering questions thereafter, he said that a term of six years in the Upper House of Parliament would give him sufficient time to implement his plans.
