Person Nominated : Joginder singh CBI Director.

Reasons : Joginder singh has shown a high degree of maturity showing why CBI can't perform Independently, He has worked under a heavy presure from political parties.

He had a chance to prove in india that currupt people will be punished by arresting PVN former PM and lallo yadav.

Every body gets a chance to serve their country once in their life time, joginder lost his chance and never again.

His moral will help in understanding the present condition and curruption in india.

Joginder singh has shown even becoming CBI director is not enough to curb the curruption at high levels.

Jogi should be the person of the year on the grounds that to protect a most currupt man one hould prove to be best in curruption.

He has set a moral that life time chance of serving the country can be missed like this, For this kind of imp positions selections should not be done by political persons.

Person Nominated : Leander Paes

Reasons : He truly deserves the Person of the Year! Let it be Rediff Person of the Year or any other Person of the Year for that matter.

In a world of corrupted Indian politics, I do not think any politician to be in this list of nominations. India really needs a hero like Leander Paes. It is about time, India has its name in the Olympic medal winners list, thanks to Leander Paes. By selecting him as person of the year, we can set an example to Indian Youth, what we can do, despite all the odds.

I undoubtedly cast my vote to Leander Paes to be the person of the year.
